The continuation of the Forest Design Workshop by Studio BOXQ

NI TO KI

From the Forest to the Future

The continuation of the Forest Design Workshop by Studio BOXQ.

Re-Think

You looked through the red frame.

Re-Connect

You slowed down. You observed. You reconnected.

Re-Design

Now continue that experience — and see how your observation can expand through creative thinking and AI.

Start your continuation

NI to AI KIT – Natural Intelligence meets Artificial Imagination.

What is this?

This page continues the Forest Design Workshop – a creative education format by Studio BOXQ.
It helps you expand your natural observation through reflection and AI.

All you need is curiosity.

You’ll follow the same learning rhythm used in the workshop:

Observe → Reflect → Expand → Continue with AI

Continue your process

Step 1.

Observation

✎ Describe what you saw through the red frame.
(A structure, texture, rhythm, or behaviour that caught your attention.)

Step 2.

Explore perspectives (5 lenses)

Choose how you want to look at your observation:

  • Structure – What is it made of? Which forms or patterns appear?

  • Texture – How does it feel, look, or sound?

  • Function – What does it do? What role does it play?

  • Process & System – How does it change over time and interact with its environment?

  • Senses & Particularities – What did you sense directly — smell, sound, touch, emotion, surprise?

    Select one lens to continue.

Step 3.

Continue Thinking (NI → KI)

Use the following creative education prompts to think your observation further.

Copy one of them and paste it into a tool like ChatGPT.

Choose one:

  1. What could we learn from the function of [your observation]?

  2. How could the principle from [your observation] be extended into another context?

  3. Which new possibilities open up if we think the pattern from [your observation] further?

  4. How might [your observation] inspire sustainable design, fashion or community systems for a functional future?

  5. What does [your observation] reveal about adaptation, balance or resilience?

Copy & Paste Tip:

Add a short description of what you saw before pasting the question.
This transforms your observation into a creative learning prompt.

Step 4.

Optional: Visual continuation (Before / After)

Optional: Visual continuation (Before / After)

If you took a photo through the red frame,
you can create a second image in your AI tool:

“Create a realistic photo expanding the principle of [observation].
Show it through a red rectangular cardboard frame, as a before/after comparison.”

→ Nature × Imagination = Creative Learning in Action.

Step 5.

Continue the journey

From seeing to imagining.

Now continue — expand your observation through creative thinking and AI. Copy one of the guiding prompts below and use it in your AI tool
to explore how your observation could grow into new insights or possibilities.

Why this matters

For 3.8 billion years, nature has been designing.

In the Forest Design Workshop, you learn to see that.
Here, you continue — connecting observation, reflection and future thinking.

This bridge between Natural Intelligence and Artificial Imagination keeps the learning process

alive beyond the forest.
