How Studio BOXQ works
Studio BOXQ works in a research-oriented and context-based manner.
Along clear routes, from which viable stations emerge. Every collaboration begins with analysis:
What tensions exist? What perspectives are missing? Where do frictions arise? Only when this structure is visible does a station come into being. Depending on the project, I work on site or mobile with Studio BOXQ – either selectively or as a longer-term collaboration.

Orientation begins
with context
Complex challenges are rarely one-dimensional.
They affect communication, behavior, structures, and context simultaneously.
That is why Studio BOXQ works according to clear principles:
-
context over opinion
-
perspectives over positions
-
impact over claims
The goal is not simplification – but sound decisions within complex environments.
Why Studio BOXQ works
in a mobile way
The mobile way of working is not an end in itself, but part of the method.
This is particularly relevant for educational and awareness campaigns, where context, location, and audiences are decisive.
Studio BOXQ works on the move in order to:
-
capture contexts directly rather than describing them abstractly
-
use nature-based working phases for perception and reflection
-
bring educational and design work to where it is needed
-
work flexibly and comprehensively across different locations
The mobile studio connects analysis, conceptual work, and implementation within one continuous process.
Routes and Stations
Along the two routes, stations are developed. A station is the concrete expression of a structure – whether as a live format, a transferable system, or a strategic development framework.
For partners, this means: instead of isolated measures, a viable structure is created – one that can be continued as a format, system, or decision logic.
Some stations are designed so that their underlying system logic can be adapted or licensed.
If no existing station fits, a new one is developed along the appropriate route.
For organizations, this ensures that instead of one-off interventions, a transferable structure is created – one that can be sustained and further developed over time.
